Chapter 17

I have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to post two chapters in a week.  So, I need to quit saying I will... I just get too excited after a post and I want to write more...but then real life gets in the way and I can't do it...  Sorry...  here's something yummy to look at ...

Chapter 15 MoH

I posted chapter 15 last night.  I had to take a major change in direction to get it written.  It's going to be  a better story, now. 

Chapter 16 shouldn't be too difficult.  I am motivated to write it, I just need to find the time. 

I have several other stories started.  I am two-three chapters deep in most of them and have ideas for more. 

The writing is coming easier... I just have a lack of desire to write and am waaaayyyyy to easily distracted.

Right now I'm struggling to the point where I have made a Dr's appt to see what's going on with me.  I'm writing little bits at a time, but it doesn't feel like I'm getting anywhere... maybe the story needs some drama to make me want to write... who knows... I will post when I get it done.

decisions, decisions...

I finished Chapter 14 of MoH last night and posted it at the butt-crack of dawn.  And in the process I made a decision.  My chapter will be shorter and I will update more consistently.  I feel like I'm really struggling to write longer chapters and get caught up in the word-count. 

So, I'm done with that... it only took me 14 chapters, but I figured it out...

In the meantime... I'm crawling in the hammock with this hottie and taking a nap!

chapter 13 is up!

Yeah, it only took me two weeks, but it's up.  I hope to update next week... hopefully, Monday or Tuesday... at the latest Wednesday.

I've had to start the The Rest of Forever over again.  I just didn't like how it was flowing or rather there wasn't any flow... so I'm trying again. 

I've had another story pop into my head, but I'm only writing it when I'm blocked or HAVE to get it out. I'm calling it "When a Tornado Meets a Volcano" or TMV.  So far, I have most of the first chapter done.  It's not a nice story at all.  Edward's a @$$h0l3 and Bella's a bit of a whirlwind herself.  It's gonna be pretty angsty and nasty... the lemons will not be sweet.  I think I'm goiong to bank the story until I have it completed and then post.  That's my plan anyway. 

My kids go back to school next week.  So, I hope to have more motivation and time to write.  Here's hoping...

ch 12 is up!

I finally finished chapter 12 tonight.  I really like and i hope everyone else does, too.  I will start ch 13 tomorrow night and hope to have it ready by next Wednesday.

I'm so happy to have that one done!

ch 12 is almost finished...

I am almost finished with chapter 12 and should be posting on Wednesday. 

Due to going on a cross-country road trip and my kids being on summer vacation I have been having a hard time getting in the correct mind-frame to write.  But my kids will be going back to school in 3 weeks so I should be able to really start focus on writing two stories at once. 

RoF is, unfortunately, taking longer to write than I had planned.  I make a little more progress every day.  But, it's just not flowing yet.  I know it will once I have more time to focus.

I want to apologize for all of the delays and thank everyone for being so patient.  So... in the meantime... here's some eye-candy....

I think Alexander/Eric looked especially hot in that blue sweater!  Yummy!

ch 12...

Due to having such a blast with my family last night chapter 12 probably won't be up until next week.  I will continue to keep working on it and hopefully post it sometime this week... don't get your hopes up.

vacation...

I am on an impromptu road-trip/vacation with my kids and my Mother-in-Law.  I have been able to get a quite a bit of Ch 12 done, but I'm struggling with some of the "juicier" parts.  Anyway... I hope to get it posted tomorrow, Thursday at the latest.  If I don't have it posted by then, it won't be posted until next Monday... The last half of this trip takes place in rural Indiana... where there's no internet near by... :o)

Chapter 12 should  be more fun than the last and I am almost ready to start writing it!

I'm so close to finishing chapter 11 of MoH, but I can't stay focused.  It sucks!  I try to write something else and that isn't helping... it's just a little frustrating.  I need to get back at it... the part I'm trying to write is supposed to be fun... I hope it comes off that way!

I'm almost done with chapter 11 of Man of Honor... although the lemons aren't coming easy... hehehehehe!  Once I finish up ch 11, I will continue working on The Rest of Forever. 

I have most of the first chapter of TRoF done and a pretty good outline for the next couple of chapters.  I'm pretty excited about it and am having a hard time staying focused on MoH... but I guess that's just how it goes. 

Alrighty... back to writing... ;0)

ideas...

So, now I have some great ideas for The Rest of Forever.  And I'm really liking my plot.  So, today since I'm stuck in bed I'm going to write.  I plan on alternating between TRoF and MoH and another I'm working on... when I'm feeling creative... like right now :0)... I can get a lot done and when it slow I go to the next one and then the next one and around we go... musical stories... Anyways...

Having a hurt back sucks... but I hope to get some writing done instead of cleaning! YAY! 

Finally...

Phew!  I finally finished Chapter 10 of MoH.  Chapter 11 should be a cake walk compared to that... or so I hope.  I hope everyone enjoys it.

still working...

I've been making steady progress on chapter 10 of MoH.  I should finish tonight... I hope... This last weekend was absolutely crazy and I am happy to say that R/L should be returning to normal and I hope to be able to focus more on my writing... or that's the plan anyway...

chapter 10

I'm still working on it.  The crazy thing is that I have been working on it off and on everyday for the last week and every time I feel like I make some progress I add something that makes more work for myself.  This chapter is difficult because I'm trying to cover two months in the chapter and I have to set up the flow of the week and each week has its' own "weirdness"... anyway... I know it's just an excuse, but it's just not coming any easier.  Maybe when Edward comes home it will come easier... maybe.

blocked,easily distracted... and now I'm tired.

MoH ch 10 is still under construction. I put another 1500 words into it and then it just stopped... I was distracted by last Sunday's episode of True Blood. Then I was distracted by the internet. And now... I'm just tired. I tried to write more, but it just wouldn't come.

I hope to get at least a third of it dome tomorrow. I guess what makes it difficult is trying so hard to stick to the outline and not skimp on the meat of the story. It's definitely a little easier now that I'm focusing on just one story.

Man of Honor ch 10 teaser

I say his name, softly at first. He doesn’t hear me so I say it louder. He turns to face me and grins over at me. His smile alone makes me wet. I ask him to come here and he laughs out loud as he slowly makes his way through the open doorway. I blink and he’s crawling on the bed with a mischievous grin spread across his gorgeously scruffy face. I roll over to my other side so that he can nestle in behind me and spoon.

My writing...

Well... my kids are on summer vacation and to say they are putting a drain on my creativity would be an understatement. I can't focus. I can't feel my characters. It's frustrating... ugggg!

I am slowly, but steadily working on Chapter 10 of Man of Honor. It's a difficult chapter on many levels and I'm just really having a hard time staying focused on it. The ending is already written and it's outlined really well... it's just that the words aren't coming. I'm probably a third of the way done at this point. I am going to work on it as much as I can today and I hope to post tonight.

We leave for a small vacation on Thursday and will be in the car for 6 hours. I really hope to be able to write for most of the trip. So, if I don't get it posted tonight, I should be able to by Friday or Saturday. Well... that's the plan anyway...


For my Memories fans... I'm sorry I had to end it where I did. But, I had already gone past the point that I had initially intended to go and writing off the cuff was really difficult for me and those particular characters.

A couple of nights ago, I sat down to try and outline a sequel for Memories and it came a lot easier than I had anticipated. I have 15 chapters outlined, although I need to straighten out the last three a little better. I have already decided on the title... The Rest of Forever. I am not sure when I am going to start writing TRoF. But, I do know that I will not publish the first chapter until I have 5 under my belt. I feel like my writing suffers when I am under the pressure of weekly updates. Don't misunderstand... I will be updating weekly... once I have some some chapters written and edited and hopefully, pre-read. I just don't like the pressure of writing for the update deadline... it doesn't help me or my writing.
